Dumb Numbers is a project in which Australian musician/filmmaker Adam Harding teams up with an all-star lineup of contributing musicians, including Dinosaur Jr.’s Lou Barlow and Murph, Best Coast’s Bobb Bruno, Melvins’ Dale Crover, Warpaint’s Jenny Lee Linberg, Einstürzende Neubauten’s Alexander Hacke, the Jesus Lizard’s David Yow, and more. Their self-titled debut came out in 2013. The follow-up is a box set release compiling three split 10″ records featuring Dumb Numbers music on one side and music from David Lynch, Melvins, and Yow on the other.
The one-time Split Series pressing includes 975 hand-numbered copies, enclosed in a custom wooden box with screen-printed art from Mackie Osborne. The first 275 copies will be availably exclusively to Joyful Noise VIP members on clear vinyl with “haze of gold, silver and oxblood colors.” A portion of the album’s proceeds will benefit the David Lynch Foundation for Consciousness-Based Education and World Peace.
