I’m finally getting around to getting my first big muff and wondering which would be the best one to get. I’d preferably like to get something under $100 and I don’t want a copycat pedal. I know J uses A vintage rams head is a bit more defined with chords and less “muddy”.  I’m wondering if a standard Pi reissue will do the trick, or if I should go for the vintage triangle reissue. I’ve heard good things about the Op as well but not really sure what would be best. Thankfully there are plenty of pictures online on how J’s settings are on his rams head, so I know what to set it to compare sounds. Let me know what you guys like dislike, etc. Also, I’m wondering how versatile they can be with getting other MBV sounds, Mudhoney. thanks
