Hey,

Thought some of you who were unable to catch this show might like to read the transcript. If you scroll down about a third of the page the Mascis/Watt interview starts. Definitely not as good just reading it, the live interview kicked a**, had couple of live shots from the radio station and concert that nite. George just sat there lauughing at whatever J or Watt said, appeared to be enjoying his beverage which looked like a large ale of some sort. Mascis was hilarious, tons of gesturing with his story about GG Allin…yikes.

Hey,

Apparently you need to scroll down the left side of the transcript page to NM 13-859…whoops.

Sarklehorse sure do rock – got a copy of the new album and did an interview with singer Mark Linkous last week…
he was really friendly, which was a great suprise, though he talks almost as slow as j.
sparklehorse and mark lanegan albums both released in the same week – awesome scenes

Can u place the interview on the Boards? that would be great
How does the new Album Sound?
I heard there are a lot of duets on the ALBUM, is that true
Hope to hear from u

I’ll get a copy and post it..
the album is great though – there are duets with Tom Waits (sounding pretty typical cool waits with clunky percussion and stuff) one with Nina from the Cardigans (!) and two with Polly (J) Harvey.. there’s also some stuff with John Parrish also of PJ Harvey (he also did some stuff on the Giant Sand album..)
– and, yeah, a really nice guy, i was expecting some strung out miserablist from what i’d heard ..
