      In a recent post J mentioned that he was listening to the new Mike Johnson album. Howver, I can’t find any more info on this release and presumably J had been sent a copy direct by Mike. Does anyone know anything more about this new album though? Title, label, release date etc.

        Mike is on a lable called UP. You can find the lable’s web site at http://www.uprecords.com
        If you email them, they will let you know exactly what Mike has been up to.

          Thanks Tom. However, they never seem to reply to emails – I’ve tried a few times before. I just wondered if anyone else had heard anything – it may well come out in the US before it hits the UK.

              Sorry you’ve had bad luck getting them to respond to your emails. Here is what they told me about the release date..

              "Mike’s new record is set to come out on August 20th, and will be called, What Would You Do"
              Hope this helps.

                  He is heading out on tour next month opening for Doug Martsch of Built To Spill (who is releasing a solo album.) Tour dates at http://www.uprecords.com Good double bill for those who have to wait for J to make it to town.
