I know we all have our own special/favorite dinosaur jr song that we think should be on the best of album- but Is’nt "What else is new" one of the songs that just belongs on the best of album. I know it was never a single but c’mon it doesn’t get any better than that does it? I think it’s a terrible shame. Am i alone on this one?

I kinda felt the same way about that when I noticed it wasn’t there. I think that song is one of the best for converting people…

YES, I fully agree! "What Else Is New" should find its way onto this best of album. it wasn’t released as a single, but the same to "In A Jar" and "Not You Again" as far as I know. so why not replacing one of these/both by WEIN? also feel the same with the song to be suitable for getting people into Dino/J. and it also can be called a classic – a major Dinosaur Jr tune!

We must all focus our positive karma -praying that there will be an ltd. copy with a killer live version of what else is new. That would save my day, not to say week or year

              So let’s do so… ommmnnn… häsemähäää…

WEIN live, a version only getting close to the highly intense one on "Out There Live 97" would make the album a must have!

I also think WEIN should be on the Best Of, especially ’cause I get the impression he’s playing it live on almost every show. He enjoys playing it also, because after a minute or x. he’s closing his eyes and completely in trance.

So: What Else Is New on the Best Of!

I agree with you all. Everytime I’ve seen J he’s done "What Else is new" all but once, so I thought for sure it was one of his favorites. I thought "Ammaring" would be on there too since J did the most amazing, beautiful, wonderful version of that at the El Rey a few months back. I was actually bowing down to the guitar guru about half way through the song. (Jokingly of course…I’m not that much of a stalker) Ha Ha
