I’ve just noticed something on the start choppin cd-single that’s probably of less importance to most of you, but I thought I should bring it up anyway. Does anyone know why the first two seconds of turnip farm are cut, while the beginning is there on the quest album ? (I know it’s a stupid question…)

I’m not sure. I assume the record company did it. Never really noticed that one… Have to check it out later.

On more light, the Japanese (pony canyon) release from Pony Canyon has the first couple seconds of Where’d you go (which is just a couple harmonics from the bass) yet on the US release (Ultimatum Music) it has been removed. Guess it is up to them. J sent them a master with all the songs and they did the final cut before pressing.

Cool. The Start Choppin single was my first ever Dino purchase, not when it was released though! I went into this shop that had loads of old singles with the intention of investigating Dino and picked that one because of the ace cover!

I thought it was pretty damn ace, the rest is history. I still like the song a lot, strangely funky compared to much Dino stuff.

on my US release of MORE LIGHT the bass
harmonics come right at the end of
WAISTIN right before the track changes.
