        I saw a very clear picture of a protester carrying the sign on CNN.com today. The article said sign maker in the middle east got it from the internet, but it wasn’t clear whether or not the people who made the signs even knew who Bert was. It also said the Muppet folks were not a bit happy about it. It gave several web addresses including the site where they think the poster picture came from, but stated the site had since taken the photo down.

        I went to show the photo and article to a friend and when we pulled the site back up, the article and photo were gone. Completely. Not anywhere on the site anymore. Thinking the Muppet folks didn’t appreciate the news of the relationship……
