Does anyone know what Jewish , Comedy Central , Daily Show comic / host (he also had his own show on networks) appeared on
VH-1 when asked to do a bit on his five favorite albums ? This was years ago , probably even before without a sound , and i remember Jon saying something like " what this guy does on guitar is amazing , unbelievable " when he held up you’re living all over me .

speaking of celebrity fans. i dunno if any of you americans have ever heard of the show "degrassi high" or "degrassi jr high" but its like a canadian saved by the bell without all the bubblegum and laughter.. its more like rock bands drugs and teenage whores and stuff. this isnt the best description but you get it. so yea.. umm.. a couple people from degrassi high like dinosaur jr and j heard about it and he invited them up to a show and shit.. so yea thats it. degrassi kids are famous and they like J and J likes the show. so yea. if you wanna hear or read the interview where they talk about it go here: http://www.nardwuar.com/menu.html
umm.. you can order videos from nardwuar with that interview on it. i have 2 tapes of him. he rawks.. good interviews with sonic youth, nirvana, courtney love, and all sorts of strange characters.. anyways. nardwuar rawks,, and thats it. bye, james.

It was huge over here!

Do you remember the band that the geek with the hat (an eighties Fonz wannabee), the tall guy who was the father of Spike’s kid and some other guy formed!!

I can remember the one song that they sang over and over too – "everybody needs something".

Damn I loved that show.

Hah! Now that I’ve got $100 million to splash around, I’ll be making a few improvements.

Other celebrity J fan sightings:

I saw Tim Meadows from SNL in the audience at both the Troubador show last Oct. and the El Rey show two months ago. He was standing way up front, just like me.

Talking of celebrity fans – James Dean Bradfield of Manic Street Preachers, described the new album as one of his faves of last year on the Steve Lamacq radio show over here in the Uk.

Off the top of my head, I can’t think of any celeb dino fans… but I do wonder if Uma Thurmond is a fan of J.

Didn’t they go to the same high school? Did they date?

Can any one shed ‘More Light’ of the subject?

If all the above is true, can you blame him that most of his songs are about a love lost or a dismantled relationship or a cheating and distrusting partner… she’s hot! Indeed, his songs make you feel sorry for him, not to mention sorry for you if you can relate. I know I can relate to his almost every word…
Hey! but don’t feel sorry for me

Michael Rosenbaum, who will play "Lex Luther" on the WB’s new show, "Smallville" is a big Dinosaur Jr. Fan and fan of J’s acoustic album, "Martin and Me." Michael can also be seen in "Urban Legend," "Sweet November" and was a regular on WB’s "Zoe…" He’s done other things such as a small part in "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" and used to be a regular on Tom Arnold’s "The Tom Show." He will be starring in a movie tentatively called "Sirority Boys" to be released next Spring. Michael likes to play J’s songs on his accoustic guitar when he has company at his house. We all sing along to "What Else is New."

yes! I put up a post the other day on the dating subject and am genuinely curious as to wether or not anyone can ACTUALLY verify wether or not J and Uma were a thing (forget where I heard it). So how about it folks? We need cold hard facts here!

You mean this freakscene site, that is such a cool interview. J being interviewed by Kim Gordon about the oddities experienced in the common in amherst…very cool.
