What’s your favorite solo by J on any of his
studio albums? I especially like these:Over your shoulder, without a sound
Thumb, Green Mind
Start Choppin, Where you beenAs far as concert solos go, that’s a different story. "What else is new" is always a killer solo when you see it live.

November 29, 2000 at 2:59 am #60907it’s a tie… Between Where You Been’s Get Me and Drawerings.
November 29, 2000 at 6:03 am #60908I agree with ‘Start Choppin’ (1st solo), ‘Get Me’, ‘Drawerings’.
What about the one in ‘Nothin’s Goin On’?
It gives me the creeps every time I listen to it…
November 29, 2000 at 11:26 am #60909Drawerings and Get me are definetely right up there. And I totally second Nothin’s Goin’On. It’s just plain genius. The Wagon is also one of my favourites, gets me every time. And I mustn’t forget Just Like Heaven. It’s one of the best covers of all time. And the guitar is, as you guessed, heaven.
