Nice pics, Foglight. I was able to look at them as BMP files with MSPaint. So, was that stuff at J’s feet there before he came out or did he make the mess?

Still, I’m going to second Sad Mafioso’s (formerly known as Spaceboy [img]images/smiles/icon_wink.gif[/img] ) suggestion that you convert them to jpg’s. That way they’ll take up less space, like the gif’s, but still look good like the bmp’s.
As for the mp3’s, I’ll ask around, maybe something can be worked out… [img]images/smiles/icon_wink.gif[/img]

Anthony- I have about 50 MB to upload. I received an email from Blah and I attempted to upload my files to his ftp, but my computer said it would take 20 hours so I cancelled. I’ll try again later. It would be nice if I could figure out the whole mono/stereo thing too (read my first post above).

Hey FogLight, just curious, what kind of connection to the Internet do you have? Are you uploading from your school? The slowness may be on Blah’s end, I just logged on to his ftp and it was pretty sluggish. I’m gonna try to work something out for you…
Also, are the MP3’s broken down into tracks, or is it one large file?
Good news, I figured out my problem with the mp3 files and I’ve made all of them stereo and just burned a cd.
Mattman: I’m uploading from school, I’m pretty sure things are fast on my end. Time permitting I’ll try Blah’s ftp tomorrow. The mp3’s are broken down into tracks.

If you want to see 4 pics from Dec 1 at the Empty Bottle click here (BMP files) or here (gif files). I originally posted the pics directly here as BMP files but I guess they were taking too long to download. So if you have a slow computer, look at the gifs. If you have a fast computer, look at the bmps. The bmps look better.
Here’s the deal on mp3’s… I successfully converted my recording to mp3 files and I can upload them to someone’s ftp at any time. However right now the only ftp that seems to be working is Blah’s, and his says "contact me before you upload", so I sent him an email and I’m waiting for a response.
The recording came out pretty good I guess. You get a good sense of how things went down that night. It’s definitely listenable but I wouldn’t describe the sound quality as "excellent". Another thing I’m working on right now is that my mp3 files are mono: as I listen to them on my computer right now I have sound in both speakers, but my HP cd-writer refuses to burn them onto a cd. It demands stereo files only. If I convert these mp3’s to stereo files, I only get sound in one speaker, and that’s no fun. Does anyone have any advice for me on how to solve this problem?

Good news! My recording of the show has been successfully uploaded to Blah’s ftp. Once again, don’t expect superb sound quality, but its still a fun listen. Later-
