      Familiar with Oysterhead? Theyre the new supergroup composed of Les Claypool, Trey Anastasio and the drummer from the Police. Their debut album comes out Oct. 2. Heres the thing. Theyre playing a show in DC but its sold out and tickets are $85 a piece. Is it worth it? Claypool = $85??

        Never heard of Oysterhead b4, but I doubt they’d be worth that $85. Do they sound anything like Primus or what?

        BTW, my vote’s on Bugger Off just cuz I feel like being a little annoying today.

          They sound exactly like what you’d expect Primus meets Phish to sound like.

          BTW, if any Claypool nuts out there know where I can get the full album on MP3 so I don’t have to wait until Tuesday, I’d be much appreciative (and I’d still buy the album [img]images/smiles/converted/wink.gif[/img]).

            Maybe if for an encore they brought Sting on stage to sing on Wynona’s Big Brown Beaver …

                Who do they think they are?
                The Eagles?(their tickets several years ago costed $100 each)

                Fugazi plays shows for $5.(that was 4 years ago so it might have increased to 6 or 7.

                  No, no, I think you misunderstand. The tickets are like 25.75 but the tour sold out near immediately (I blame that Phish guy) and scalpers prices are close to $85 a ticket.

                  LOL – the thought of Claypool playing a show with an $85 ticket cover price… lol…
