I dont know, but, its been a week and one day since I had my partial put in, and my mouth is STILL bleeding! Im getting kind of week again. I dont think this is a good thing, nor do I think its normal.
November 2, 2001 at 6:05 am #66134what the dickens is a partial? And why would it make your mouth bleed? Hope it has stopped now, but you have disturbed me with your tale of woe, and quite possible destroyed my Friday.
Get well soon.
November 2, 2001 at 7:06 am #66135Hey Randy Jane,
Yikes, sounds like you really need to call the dentist up and give him an update. Drink lots of water and eat some iron rich food…spinach…worked for popeye

November 2, 2001 at 8:51 am #66136no its not better, I went to sleep thinking that maybe I could get some rest at like 4:00 a.m. but now its 7:00 a.m. and Ive been up for half an hour. Im getting quite sick, im sick of blood. I wake up covered in it (sorry for that picture). I just wish 8:00 would get here so I could call the dentist, maybe their open then…..I think they are. Anyway, a partiall is a/some fake teeth. My case, the front two. Mine were pretty much knocked out last year and I went a year without fully having front teeth. And now I get them and they make me sick!!!!!
November 2, 2001 at 10:36 am #66137Like Allison said,call the dentist,it problably should`nt be bleeding.
I bruised my gum twice a few months ago, alot of pain from that, the 2nd time I called the dentist but it was a holiday here and I could`nt see him.The next day it felt better so I did`nt bother to see him,but that one day the pain was unbelievably bad.November 2, 2001 at 10:38 am #66138Randy Jane, I’ve just talken to my mother who is a dentist and mouth surgeon(not sure what to call it in english -but trust you get the point.) She said that it varies from person to person how they react on the surgery you’ve been through, and that it’s hard to say if anything’s normal or not. But she said that over a week of bleeding and pain isn’t excactly a nice thing, and that you definetely should tell your dentist about this and explain the discomfort you’re feeling.
Hope you get better really soon
November 5, 2001 at 5:53 pm #66139Hey, I never got ahoold og my dentist, but never fear, they havent bled since I complained about them….maybe if we all complain, our worries will all go away…..then we can have a "Leonard Cohen afterworld," yeah. Anyway, thanks for the advise, and concern!
