Alarm clock from hell, thats what vg called some music I was listening to yesterday when I was making coffee. I was listening to Modest Mouse
746-HERO So I was thinking, while laughing at him, what song would get me out of bed in record time… screaming in horror…has to be hotel california by the eagles. Doubt I would ever sleep in again What is the most horrifying song you can imagine, one that would get you out of bed in record time to smash that hellish alarm clock to bits…
Allison
ps…I hate the fucken eagles man…The Dude from The Big Lebowski
January 26, 2002 at 1:37 pm #67656Heheh… I wanted to create a Maria Carrie alarm clock awhile back…
I tend to be super groggy in the morning and I figured that nothing would shock my brain into awakeness faster…
Then I came to my senses…
January 26, 2002 at 5:48 pm #67657How about this alarm-clock playing a medley of Tool/System of a Down-stuff, loud enough to wake you up, ugly enough to make you jump out of bed and turn the damned thing off?

January 27, 2002 at 4:46 pm #67658Den Buck thats the kind of alarm clock that deserves to be smashed b4 it goes off, preferably with a baseball bat!!!
Mattman are you talking about mariah carey? If yes, you would have to pry me off the roof if she did that high pitched squeak, apparently thats supposed to be thrilling Glad you came to your senses
Malcom I wish I had that problem, I sleep so lightly pretty much anything wakes me up Maybe you need to experiment with the alarm clock from hell deal, you might find something horrifying that will work for you. My suggestion is a canadian singer called anne murray….ohhhh she is so evil…song called snowbird. If that doesn’t get you up in record time nothing will!!!
DS I don’t know what song that is but good luck with it.
I’m going to add Don’t to my Hellish Alarm Clock

January 27, 2002 at 6:19 pm #67659If its sheer annoying factor you’re looking for, try N’syncs pop, can’t get any worse
January 27, 2002 at 11:14 pm #67660Yeah, Allison, Mariah Carey… I never bothered to learn to spell her name.
Yeah, the squeak would get me outta the bed, but you’re right, it’d introduce a whole new problem of removing myself from the ceiling… I’ll have to think of something better…
January 28, 2002 at 2:13 am #67661To be honest, the only alarm clocks that wake me up are the buzzers, the "worlds loudest" model, which I keep all the way across the room. I’ve tried everything, only this works

January 28, 2002 at 8:48 pm #67664YIKES, think that kinda thing would definitely get me up in record time, no doubt about it!!!! But I would probably have to start on some sort of medication to deal with the trauma
But hey, maybe then I could actually get some sleep…yeah right I love that site, tons of really silly but somehow hypnotizing things. I kinda like the backward clock, may have to get one.

January 28, 2002 at 9:19 pm #67665hmm. . .my potential likes tori amos and I know she likes maisy (uncertain about hello kitty). So that would definately keep me from sleeping.
Not neccesarily for the same reasons of Alison tho. . .
January 31, 2002 at 12:36 pm #67666Cool topic Allison
anne murray`s snowbird would make my list too, she`s from my province, used to be the most famous singer from here, nowadays Sarah Mclachlan is the most famous singer from here.I got a good anne murray story, when she had a hit with snowbird in the early 70`s,her touring band was on acid,I`m trying to think what that would sound like
celine dion would top my list I`m surprised Allison did`nt mention the Bee Gees, put tragedy or stayin alive in a alarm clock that would work. -
