this is especially aimed at salamiguy, who at least seems to own every album by every band ever.
sometimes i feel guilty for buying too many cds. this is wrong. i know i don’t have a lot compared to some people, so please make me feel inadequate.
i’ve got circa 320.
I’m about to archive our cds as we are tending to lose the overview and even neglect a few albums sometimes. it’s about 420 now, 100+ more to add.
it’s approx 200 cd’s
250 vinyl albums and maybe 100 tapesi’m a bit old school about vinyl – its usually cheaper and you can get all sorts of stuff second hand without having to pay a fortune
I only have about 100 cds and countless vinyl inherited by my dad. Only been buying cds for three or so years now on account of my youngness of 16, so I guess that’s not bad for a few years. [img]images/smiles/icon_cool.gif[/img]
I did some reorganizing this summer, I clocked in on about 1000++ cds. You could add about 50-60 that I’ve bought this fall. Don’t have a big vinyl collection, unfortunately, probably around 70 lps and some 7" and 12"
buckingham, never feel guilty for buying cds! It’s way better than firearms, explosives and neurotoxins!
If I kept every cd I bought I`d problably have 900.
I sold alot of cd`s after I listened to them enough,so I only have about 130 now,which is still alot.The most I ever had was 350.
I have 400 tapes(blank) and about 60 records.Howdy

Some lp’s, 7 Inches + a couple of 12 InchesThe Most Albums I ever had was 1200 Cd’s

Like Robert said, buying music is much better than buying weapons/firearms…although I do like fireworks [img]images/smiles/icon_wink.gif[/img]

Don’t feel so puny, I’m only at about 85 cd’s now, and about 70-something casettes. [img]images/smiles/icon_sad.gif[/img] I’ve had to ban myself from most music stores since I ALWAYS walk out with something.
My big problem is that I always want shit that I can’t find on the cheap.
i also have about 70 albums on vinyl, but i didn’t pay more than a dollar for most of them.
i always feel that buying cds is more worthwhile than food because once you eat food, its gone forever. cds you can play over and over forever, at least in theory. if i had ten bucks to spend on either a cd or a meal at a restaurant, i’d buy the cd everytime.

78’s – about 100Collection has been reduced over time due to theftmurphedspace constraints. Don’t buy as much as I used to cause my son buys so much now. We have pretty similar tastes, but he has the most newer stuff. He is 15 and has about 200-250 cd’s (we have some duplicates of stuff we both wanted our own copy of – More Light is one of the dupes).
