      Metal Molly – think they were Belgian (Hansione, Buck, Robert or other Europeans may know more) – what happened to them? Listened to one of my old cd’s of theirs last night, forgot how much I liked them.

      Polvo – anyone? Again, haven’t heard from them in years (am guessing my man Salami’s gonna know).

      Cheers – am off (begrudgingly) to see Faithless tonight at the Academy – my friends are supporting (Kosheen – killer drum and bass with wicked female vocalist – check it).

        Metal Molly was a great band, but alas, they have split, read "all about Metal Molly"

          Not sure if Metal Molly is still around but one guy from Metal Molly is in Chitlin Fooks with Carol from Bettie Serveert;Chitlin Fooks is country/folk type stuff with Gram Parsons/Emmylou Harris harmonies.
          Polvo split in 1997;Ash Bowie has a new band,forget the name of it,he also played with Helium with his girlfriend Mary Timony,not sure if they`re still together,another Polvo guy has a new band as well.

              Guy Van Nueten is also part of ‘Sukilove’, a band together with Pascal Deweze (Metal Molly/Nemo/Mitsoobishy Jacson/Chitlin’ Fooks), Stoffel Verlackt (Flowers For Breakfast/Metal Molly/El Tattoo del Tigre/Chitlin’ Fooks), Pieter Van Buyten (the Kids/Flip Kowlier/ABN) and Helder Deploige (Chitlin’ Fooks). Sukilove is currently making its way in the Belgian Studio Brussel chart ‘De Afrekening’, after having entered the chart last weekend at 29 with their song ‘Talking in the dark’.
