Here`s some more info on that Ramones Tribute that`s supposed to come out in the future:

http://music.yahoo.com/launch/news/launch/story.html?a=n/music/launch/news/launch/rock/20020522/20/p1&b=n/music/launch/news/launch/rock/20020522/20/p2

Interesting line up;you would expect The Offspring and Green Day to be on it but Tom Waits? or U2 covering Beat On The Brat.

I’m stoked for Rancid’s "Sheena is a Punk Rocker" and Manson’s the KKK took my baby away"

Metallica

Pleased about a new Ramones tribute, but quite the eclectic group of contributors…YIKES The Song Ramones The Same had only one good cover on it in my opinion, The Hellacopters doing What’d Ya Do, hopefully this one is better.

Just how many Ramones tributes are out there…gotta wonder.

There`s one tribute from years back that has Bad Religion covering We`re A Happy Family
I once heard a brass band covering Gimme Gimme Shock Treatment

Still having a hard time getting my head around metallica doing a Ramones cover Pretty sure J would do a wicked version of that song

BUt then again, is any of it stranger than J covering KISS songs?

I loved that Kiss cover by J. Actually I like early Kiss releases, so yeah, metallica doing Ramones is still out there to me….even compared to J covering Kiss
