ps. a good start of my birthday: coming home after a nice party, switching on the TV, seeing Robert Wyatt sing ‘Shipbuilding’, followed by REM doing ‘Pretty Persuasion’ (with Michael Stipe having the same ‘haircut’ as Alanis Morisette <img> <img> ), some highlihts from the BBC’s Old Grey Whistle Test from circa 1984 <img>

Thanks guys.

My mom bestowed on me the wonderful gift of new tires. T’was a good thing too cause my other tires were balder than bald. Grams gave me money so I went over to Fry’s and picked up, on DVD, these total guilty pleasures:
