      From Pitchfork:

Matador Records has announced the tracklist for the eagerly-awaited 10th anniversary expansion of Pavement’s Slanted & Enchanted– and it’s a doozy, with 50 tracks over two CD’s, three previously unreleased recordings, two alternate mixes, a complete live show, and two BBC sessions with six more previously unreleased songs among them. Key surprises for Pavement fans will be the recently unearthed Slanted outtake "Nothing Ever Happens" and two untitled instrumentals from the album sessions. The creative team behind the reissue have even included the entire "Summer Babe" and "Trigger Cut" singles, including the rare single mix of the former; Slanted outtake "My First Mine" (originally released on a 1991 flexidisc with the zine Ablaze!); the 1992 Watery, Domestic EP; and Watery outtake "Greenlander" (sorry, not an alternate version like our spy had reported).

As previously reported, the second disc contains both of Pavement’s 1992 Peel sessions as well as a live show from December 1992. The show was professionally recorded for a radio broadcast and is best known to Pavement nuts as the source of the European bootleg Strayslack. Slanted & Enchanted: Deluxe & Re-Duxe is due in stores October 22nd at, we’re told, a single CD price. Tracklist:

HI folks! Who can forget pavement?
Often when foreign people talk about italians, they say "Italians do it better".
          And we deserve it again!!
You’re probably thinking: "What the hell this guys is talking about?"
Easy… An Italian label is planning a Pavement tribute with the likes of Fuck, Trumans water, Tinderstiks, Howe Gelb of Giant Sand, Silkworm and many more…
And you guys will have the chance to appear in the cd’s cover…just send a picture of you wearing a pavement T-shirt!!!…GReat idea

I wasn’t going to buy this but they just kept beefing it up and now it seems like I don’t have an option. God, and the first three Go-Betweens albums were recently reissued with a second disc of bonus tracks as well.
