A truly sad day…. I am speechless, this is such a great loss…

Gabba Gabba Hey forever

quote:
Joey Ramone, lead singer of legendary punk band the Ramones, passed away at 2:40 p.m. Sunday at the age of 49.

The towering front man, born Jeffrey Hyman, did not respond to treatment for lymphatic cancer, a disease that attacks the body’s ability to fight infection.

I am so sad. Ended up staying home from work. Too damn depressed and I really don’t wanna be around all the folks at work that don’t have a clue how important Joey was.

Hey DFK,

It sucks in such a huge way doesn’t it..
every time I see it on the news or in the paper it takes my breath away all over again.

take it easy and play some Ramones tunes,

it’s been more than a year
and i still miss Joey Ramone
hope the highly anticipated Tribute Album
would do justice to him
and their legacy
