Ah yes, another "Best Goddamn" thread, I shouldn’t have to explain this.

      1) Shady Lane
      2) Summer Babe (NOT the Winter version)
      3) Stereo (what about the voice of Geddy Lee. . .)
      3 1/2) Silence Kit

        Explain it, please.

Is there a difference between the winter and non-winter versions? (I assume the non-winter version is the one on westing)

I don’t know if these are goddamned but I like these.

        1) Gold Soundz
        2) Shoot The Singer

I’ve always liked ‘Gold Soundz’ and "Range Life’…

"Winter Version" is on "Slanted and Enchanted" it’s slower and much more enunciated. I’m not certain where the non-winter version can be found, but it is more rocking and has some great yells in the background.

                            den Buck’s current Pavement favourites:

                            Cut your hair
                            Range life
                            Rattled by the rush
                            Gold soundz

…..well, that list changes nearly daily, like Salami said:

A friend who has ‘slow century’ says there is some footage of Malkmus and Dave Berman of the Silver Jews drunk, playing air guitar and drums, respectively, to ‘sludefeast’. anybody seen this? den buck?

It could very well be him. But anyways, SM is playing ‘air broom handle’ and Berman (?) is sitting on the floor playing the drum part to the power chords of Sludgefeast. It was during Derby Day in Louisville (Bob Nas. lives across the street from Churchill Downs) and everyone was drunk. It’s pretty funny. The whole DVD is pretty funny. Especially when they start telling european reporters how they already saved rock and roll once.
