      Heard on audiogalaxy this morning that people are sending out viruses disguised as mp3 files,some people are saying that it can`t be done,can it?

          This is an old hoax that keeps resurfacing from time to time…

          It’s not true. Mp3’s are data files, and data files CANNOT contain viruses, because they cannot execute themselves. Only executable files can have viruses (such as the ones that end with .EXE).

          This probably just the work of the non-mp3 crowd trying to scare people… <img>
