Inspired by Ear Bleeding Country I decided to make my own best of Dino disc. Well… after three hours of listening, writing down the songs I just had to have on it. And then doing it all over again about a zillion times , I thought; screw this, this is my collection and opted for a box set. So far my box, called Pigs in a Grinder -inspired by the liner notes to BBC Sessions, consists of 2 cds. Fear not, a loose count tells me that I’ll be landing on 4 cds when I’ve included some live stuff and acoustic numbers. I’m also pondering hard on the artwork, I’ve decided to with cardboard and have some scetches in my mind regarding layout, pics and stuff.

Pigs in a Grinder disc one:
Start Choppin
Out There
I Don’t Think
The Wagon
I Don’t Think So
Never Bought It
Nothin’s Goin On
What Else Is New
Freak Scene
I’m Insane
Get Me
Just Like Heaven
Mind Glow
Sure Not Over You
Drawerings
Get Out Of This
I Ain’t Sayin

Pigs in a Grinder disc two
Take A Run At The Sun
Sameday
Not You Again
Where’d You Go
I Live For That Look
Even You
Back Before You Go
The Lung
Pebbles+Weeds
Ammaring
Quicksand
Repulsion
I’m Not Fine
Loaded
Can’t I Take This
Mountain Man
I Knew Yer Insane
Gettin’ Rough
Hot Burrito #2
All The Girls

As the box expands(when I get home from school) I’ll post the "progress" here. I know there’s still lots I just gotta have on it.

Hey Robert, I sure love that quote from the BBC session too:

quote

Quote:
Melody, noise and rhythm collided like pigs in a cement mixer, blending, bleeding and rolling over each other …

Hope you’re gonna include Bulbs of Passion from that session, cuz that one surely kicks some maximum ass

And what’s with this inclusion of Pebbles+Weeds but not The Little Baby? Do I really have to spell out that The Little Baby kicks some .. yeah, you got it ..

MAXIMUM ASS

Lookin forward to see that artwork btw.

Looks like the artist formerly known as Maxini has gotten himself a brand new catch phrase…
