Have you all seen the HFSmas Nutcracker Ball lineup? Zwan (Corgan), James Brown, Coldplay, QOTSA, and the Vines (and some shitty bands too).
You all really need to come see this.
I saw Coldplay twice last summer when they played both days of the HFstival, and if you like their stuff, you’ll like them live. Martin sounds better then he does on the recordings and the band is tight musically.
They do have "punk" bands coming out the wazoo, but the mere opportunity to see a possible Corgan/Brown duet on Soul Power is worth twice the price of admission.
Meh, I saw that…no one I’m really into, many, many shitty bands. I might go if I can get in for free (which is possible), but I refuse to spend money on a bill that includes Good Charlote. I’ll spend my money on maybe Interpol or Toots & the Maytals instead.
