Ok, so just for fun… you tell a couple of lines from any song you’d like and the other person guesses which song is it, then leave herself other line(s) and so on. Yeah?
I’ll start with a classic one:
"Father?"
"Yes, son?"
"I want to kill you.
Mother I want to….."January 6, 2003 at 6:33 pm #84995The Doors: The End
So now that its my turn, I’ll say:
"He’s got an eighteen year old angel
and she’s all dressed in black.
He’s got fifteen nickles of cocaine
tied up in a sack."January 6, 2003 at 6:35 pm #84996That’s "The End" from the Doors.

Who’s this: "While the triple sixers lassos keep angels roped in the basement, I walk the block with a halo and a stick poking your patience"
Shit, someone’s been faster than me.. lol
January 6, 2003 at 6:39 pm #84997Quote:Who’s this: "While the triple sixers lassos keep angels roped in the basement, I walk the block with a halo and a stick poking your patience"I’m wrong, but It sounds like the streets
January 6, 2003 at 6:45 pm #84998Right direction, wrong band.

But I myself don’t have the vaguest notion of where your quote is comin’ from, lol.
January 11, 2003 at 5:10 pm #84999I don’t know the answer but to keep the tread going an easy one:
I won’t cry if you walk by
But if we both kind of stumble
Maybe I’ll say hi
That’s my best
I never try that much
‘Cause I’m scared of feeling
That appealing touchJanuary 11, 2003 at 6:34 pm #85000Severed Lips by some Dino band

…and who is this?
Quote:Hey, baby, it’s me again.
Hey, you remember them drawers you left in the car?
Yeah, the ones with the pink feathers around the edge?
Well, don’t you tell a soul but I’ve got them on right now.
And they’re making me think about you.
Yeah, I was thinking about you when the law pulled me over.
He said I looked like the kinda guy that might be hiding something.
And my car was swerving.
But I don’t think he’s ever seen a man wearing pink panties,
and under the influence of Merle Haggard.

How about this one
I’m lookin’ for a star bright
To shine down your light now
And keep the little one safe and warm,
‘Cause to her it’s just a fantasy
And to me it’s all a mystery.January 12, 2003 at 5:37 am #85003"hansione" wrote:Billy Bob Thornton / ForeverHow about this one

) – For my little baby boy
January 12, 2003 at 6:26 am #85004Come on den Buck: I’m sure you’ve got the track of this band in your collection, on cd and probably on vinyl too.

….and who is this?:
Quote:I was born the day they shot a hole in the Jesus egg
Now the rain, it’s all so random
What does free will have to do with it at all?
And you can’t cry, but
It really don’t matter, y’end up cryin’ anyway.
My hands are in the air
And that’s where they always are
You’re fucked if you do, and you’re fucked if you don’tJanuary 12, 2003 at 8:05 am #85006I’d say: Flaming Lips – Five stop mother superior rain

now something easy, who’s that:
Quote:as she takes on half the world
moving up and so alive
in her honey dripping beehive, beehive
it’s good, so good, it’s so good so good
walking back to you
is the hardest thing that I can do
that I can do for you for youJanuary 12, 2003 at 9:38 am #85007Hey FC, that’s JAMC’s ‘Just like honey’

….now who is this?
Quote:The people will survive
In their environment
The dirt, scarcity, and emptiness
Of our South
The injustices of our greed
The practices we merit
The dirt, scarcity and emptiness
Of our SouthJanuary 12, 2003 at 11:44 am #85008Minutemen-Corona
