          I responded, hope it works.

          I think it will take a lot of time & effort to change the values/beliefs that bring about that kind of so called justice. Sad :(

          But it is horrifying, hopefully with lots of people working towards making change small gains will be seen sooner rather than later.

            hey *sophie*, it’s a shocking and awful fact, that people are really getting stoned nowadays. so anything anyone could perhaps do to stop just one of these incidents is something positive.

            In my mind, there’s just a little bit of doubt that this kind of appellation in the web is really about authentic cases.             But on the other hand, you’re right, it doesn’t seem to hurt at all to participate.

              that site is serious has it is owned by amnesty international !
              and that case is so real -unfortunately-
              they talked alot about this woman here…

                      Hello Sophie, I have sent a protest letter speaking out against this, and I think you can find the address on the Amnestie site. If this really still happens–it is vile and absurd. There is a book written by a French journalist ( I wish I had bought this book when I saw it last…) who speaks out about these trials. Amnestie Int’l has apparently over a million signatures regarding this case–They should not kill Amina Lawal!!

                        i am glad that at least freak scene fellows do not boycott french people.
