      Ok, I cant find where I posted this the last time, so….Does anyone from the boards live close to or in Boone, NC? Im hoping to move there, its a great town. Bye, Randy Jane.

        yeah,
        IMy family lives in Wilkesboro, which is a little shit town about thirty miles east. Sometimes I live in Asheville which is way better than Boone (I lived in Boone for three years). You going to school or just wanna be there? It is a cool little town, but if you havent been to Asheville you should check it out.Lots of music and things there, and full of wonderful beautiful freaks.

          I was in Boone today. (Saturday….still havent slept yet) I like it there, I want to go to college. I have been to asheville, but I dont really like big cities. I like the mountains a lot more. I do want to have a band and stuff….does Boone even have a guitar shop though? didnt see one…scary.

              me again,

              I wouldnt exactly say that asheville is a big city, maybe a town that has some tall buildings. Youve got a perfect view of the mountains all around you. oh well, I love it there.I just got back from visiting Pittsburgh, so it may just seem small now.
              Guitar shops in Boone:
              There is one in the Mall :twisted:
              There used to be one on HWY105 between king st and 321.
              other than that, i dont think there is much more.
              come to think of it, there arent many guitar shops in Asheville either :?:

                Db…I think you took the wrong "earth model". The exact amount in km must be: 17.385 km! (echt -> boone)

                  …..that would mean something of a 20 hour flight from Holland to the eastcoast of the US, sounds quite improbable to me, tried again with the exact coordinates of my house and those of the Watauga County Hospital heliport in Boone, NC, and came up with: 6825.759940760036 km :roll: :wink: :P

                      lol, a friend of mine was a city councilman in boone. he loved it there. although he’s a rootsy music die-hard and loves the appalachian stuff………
