Though this may seem as a message from Robert, it isn’t. It’s a message from Marcus. Robert has asked me to post a message, explaining his abscens. So here we go:
About three weeks ago we were bored, really bored, and needed some extraveganza spectacular to cheer us up. Nearby there’s a skijump, a large, nasty sucker. We decided that it would be cool to jump with our bikes. It was. Pretty hard landings, but great fun. Robert decided that a no handed backflip would be great. Forgetting that he hadn’t tried this for 4 years. It didn’t go excactly as planned. He was a bit short, so the handlebars beat the crap out of him. Broken collarbone, shoulders, one arm, a nice concushion. So he’s been feeling a bit under the weather lately. But he should be up and about in a couple of weeks time.
He sends you all his gabba gabba hey hey’s.

Sounds damn cool though, can’t wait to get home tonight and break out the mongoose. get well soon fella.

Hey, like VF said, "wicked jump, shame about the landing", had a major Jackass moment myself when mountainbiking a couple of weeks ago, overlooking a treestump on a very steep downhill path, counted myself lucky with only a small bruise on my thigh….

thanks Aatos, yeah I’ts way better now. Was at a Hellacopters gig last night, it was perfect for the healing process.
Actually, ut wasn’t that crazy, I’ve done backflips many times before, but that was some years ago… The real problem was that I was riding a mountain bike, not a bmx, the handling’s pretty different, not to mention that a mountain bike is longer. So I miscalculated the landing pretty bad, and that was a really stupid thing to do.
