A year ago today we lost a friend here on FreakScene, DFKgurl/Leslie

Leslie was the ideal mother according to her son Max, wicked music fan, loved all things J, a valued FreakScene member & so much more

this was so very sad news last year…

dfkgurl was a friendly, engaged and witty board member and a devoted J Mascis fan. She is still missed here

We had a topic back then, to think of her with listening to her favourite Dinosaur Jr record, Green Mind, so this is a special reason to listen to this great record again today

Strange, I was just talking to another member on AIM a few days ago about DFK. I had no idea it has been a year. Had a blast of EBC earlier. She was one of the good ones.
