Ok, Im aware of the fact that Nirvana and other bands are bigger and more popular than Dino/J, but why arent there more things for Dino? Its super hard to find videos. Albums are relatively easy to find..Ebay, record stores (used ones are the best for finds). I would love it if J would "get with the times" and make an "over the years" dvd or something. Live show clips, full songs, interviews, promo videos, bonus materials…a game somewhere with something to do with like Super Bob. I would be all over buying this, and im sure any and every Dino fan would too. Pearl Jam has a live dvd and its great, and the single video theory is also a very good dvd. The live video is pretty obvious as to what it is. Single Video Theory is like, the making of the Yeild album (I think yeild). It would be great if J would do a making of an album…I would LOVE LOVE LOVE it to see J’s magic in the studio on my tv. Maybe if we tell him enough times, or maybe if hes reads this post, he’ll be all….Why didnt I think of that!??! hehe….ok, im out. Randy Jane.
April 26, 2003 at 10:03 am #93223ok, I’d buy 5, but not exactly for my mother

you’re right, it would be great, if J (or any label) would compile a DVD with live footage, promo videos & maybe interview bits
April 26, 2003 at 11:06 am #93224I’d buy more than a few for, well, maybe not my mom but I’d buy them. Hoping we get an answer soon to a similar question

The Circuit8 DVD has a great interview with J walking thru the streets of NYC, in an apartment (?his), played a couple songs acoustic songs in a kitchen. It’s pretty cheap if you can find it, might tide you over until your dream DVD comes out
I’d love to see some enhanced CD’s for the reissues, some live video or interview…
April 26, 2003 at 1:46 pm #93225The Slow Century Pavement DVD is a benchmark. Anything similar in a Dinosaur Jr./J fashion would be too good to be true.
Not to sound too out of it, but Circuit8? A band? label?
It definitely would be worth picking up if J is involved…
reissues are cool, but rebuying the same album strikes me as overconsumerism. However, if the bells and whistles are right, I’m in…
April 26, 2003 at 3:25 pm #93226definitly love something like that – i’d love a DVD with all the music videos on too – that would be greeaat. The ‘over the years’ thing sounds really good, a selection of live footage and interviews and things would be reaallly greeaat. I’d buy 5 copies, just incase of fire or flooding etc i’d need the security of a few back-ups
April 26, 2003 at 4:41 pm #93227I think Dino/J`s not being a huge name in the music world has something to do with it though Dino/J are`nt obscure either so there`s plenty of fans would be buy it

As opposed to letting J know that we would like to see a DVD a better chance may be to let Ultimatum Music know. I noticed at the Ultimatum web page that they put out a DVD for Sugarcult. Maybe they could do one for J too. Also I’m not sure who owns the rights to all Dinosaur Jr. videos. My guess would be that the record label that paid for the video(s) to be made would own them but I could be grossly wrong. But Ear Bleeding Country came out and it included songs that were released from different label. Maybe someone who knows more about the legalities of the industry could clear that up. I’m all for a J/Dino DVD but I’m not getting my hopes up.
May 13, 2003 at 5:42 am #93230if he´d do something like sonic youth with their the year that punk broke and put some livestuff of other bands he toured with also on the cd (especially unsurfaced nirvana blablabla) he could sell A LOT of those.
