Knife in the water – Cut the cord….not exactly the right kind of music for the weather at the moment (some kind of heatwave going on here), more the kind of music for the time when the leaves are falling and in it is raining all day, and it gets dark at four o’clock in the afternoon or so….

hey VF:is this in all copies or limited edition?)June 13, 2003 at 11:20 am #94327I really like Chelsea Girl. Nico gets a lot of shit from people and I think it’s unwarranted.
June 13, 2003 at 12:56 pm #94328Hey! SG

1st 10.000 copies of the CD & Vinyl release have the live stuff as a bonus, recorded in Vancouver & Seattle  I have both, the single disc has a very Purple disc, bonus track of City Slang (Sonics Rendezvous Band cover) only on the live vinyl release.

June 18, 2003 at 11:03 pm #94330The Decemberists–Castaways and Cutouts. If you like Neutral Milk Hotel then you would probably like this. Good album!
Raining Pleasure–Nostalgia
Raining Pleasure–Memory Comes Back
This is a band from Greece that sounds totally British. I ordered them from Greece and they are my first CDs having anything to do with Greece. Wasn’t there a Greek poster here once? I think they are named after a Triffids song.Nina Nastasia–Run to Ruin. I don’t think it will be as good as "the Blackened Air", but there is still some good stuff.
I ordered but still haven’t received:
Brian Eno–Here Come the Warm Jets
Dump–A Grown-Ass ManJune 20, 2003 at 11:33 am #94331Just picked up D.I.Y. or Die: Burn This DVD (the non copy-protected DVD of DIY or Die: How to Survive as an Independent Artist)
Some pretty pleasing little J, Watt & Ron Asheton bits, haven’t watched the whole thing yet, but it looks pretty pleasing. If I had a dvd burner I’d take their advice & burn everyone a copy…

Also picked up The Spinanes-arches and aisles…free
:aliensmile:June 20, 2003 at 11:43 am #94332VF-Arches And Aisles free sounds cool
