      along with the bbc sessions album on the way, the BBC also used a track (can’t remeber which I’m afraid) off ‘free so free’ to soundtrack the highlights from the wimbledon tennis tournament this morning. strawberries and cream anyone!!

        following that, during the rain break on the tim henman match they used not one, but two breeders tracks! god bless the beeb.

          …looking on how often the BBC has J Mascis songs in their program, it really looks like there is at least one J fan among their editors :P :mrgreen:

            yeah definitly, :mrgreen:. i was shocked when i heard it on the football focus :shock: but it seems to be popping up in other bbc shows too

              I remember reading somewhere about the guy who does the incidental music to BBC Sport. Very big fan of "indie" style music. He looks for songs with long instrumental sections in them, so i imagine J fits the bill perfectly.
