      ‘ello,

I havent posted here in a long time, but I do read this on a semi-regular basis.

Anyway, I just recently published my first chapbook of poetry and I took the opportunity to thank J Mascis and a few other people whose work has provided much inspiration over the years.

I always like hearing about things like that, so I assume that some of you will appreciate that.

Oh, and if any of you are interested in reading some of it, many of the poems from the chapbook can be found on my web site, so you wont have to spend/waste any hard earned money.

            Thank you, Swan

Someone was asking me, whynone of the few people I thanked were poets. I guess it’s easier for me to be inspired by people from other crafts (like Mascis) because itforces me to explore a new path. I mean when I listen to Where You Been or watch Stevie Ray Vaughan Live at The El Mocambo, I think "why would I ever pick up a guitar? How the hell could I compete with that??"

Fortunately, most people dont think like me. I’m glad that Mascis didnt wuss out when he was a kid and think something that dumb, when he first heard a Stooges record! haha.

            like cats in a bowl,
