Haven’t got their first one, didn’t even realise that "When the sky…" wasn’t their first album…..
Going to check the local Amsterdam shops (first/secondhand) first, see if I can find it otherwise I might get it through amazon.de, although nearly 25 euro (a little more than 28 US$ is quite a price….
)Let me know how your search goes, dB. The only Zephyrs to be found in the States is the EP, and still most places don’t have that. But if that album is as good as all their other material, I think it will be worth the steep price.
I had a mixed BT disc I made before and the first album, now I bought the box set. I must say that "You Turn Me On" is one of the greatest albums ever. Definetly in the top ten of all time and that’s saying alot from a music addict like myself. Lots of showgazer two chord guitar stuff and really touching lyrics. No annoying stuff. I love to sing along with Calvin it’s a lot of fun.
I really like what Calvin does with doug martsch in the halo benders as well.
