not sure if they have reached anywhere outside the UK yet, but bought their album, permission to land, and asides from the first and penultimate track, this is amongst my best buys of the year.

weird, because i hate bands like kiss/queen etc whom the darkness parody, but tracks like "get your hands off my woman, muthafucker" "Growing on You" (incredible guitaring) and "I believe in a thing called love" are absolutely perfect for driving and rocking out to. over here they are either loved or hated, but they are sooooooooo entertaining live.

i never, ever thought i would like this sort of band, but there ya go. enjoy.
