I love grabing intros and using them as lead in to hot tracks that jump as as a surprised based on the false intro.
Down in it is so darn good, Pretty Hate Machine changed my life. Don’t quite know why it seems that the Downward Spiral gets all the credit for being his masterpiece.
great mix
January 10, 2004 at 6:25 pm #98302the ‘G-Funk intro’ is about 2 minutes of Snoop/Dr. Dre rapping over the mighty Funkadelic groove of ‘(Not just) Knee Deep’ (I suppose that the clean version of it consists of a two minute long ‘beeeep’
)January 11, 2004 at 5:40 pm #98303is that g-funk intro from the chronic? I left my copy somewhere when i condensed my collection. Sounds like a good track.
i fourgot to mention how nice it is to see Higher State of Consciousness, Josh Wink was my favorite DJ back in the day when techno was on the front burner on my stovetop stereo situation. Haven’t heard that in years, probably dig it out right about now…
January 11, 2004 at 5:59 pm #98304No, it’s from Snoop’s debut album ‘Doggystyle’….

I also hadn’t heard that Josh Wink song for ages, but I found it on a compilation (in a bargain bin for about 3 dollars, with lots of other nearly forgotten stuff: M/A/R/R/S, A Guy Called Gerald, Humanoid, 808State, S’Express etc…..)
