i’m a bit of a political junkie, so this election means quite a bit to me. I lost a fifty dollar bottle of scotch on the last presidentlal election. A polly sci professor of mine convinced me that there was no way this country could elect Dubya. I believe him, i mean this guy isn’t intelligent, but now he is our president, and he makes serious decisions. I think hard core republicans didn’t realize what they were getting them selves into a bit. They figured he’d have alot of good people around him so Dubya it wasn’t a big deal that he was an idiot. The problem is that when it gets right down to it the president is the last word and when the last word is wrong, we all suffer. I picked John Kerry early, when he declared actually, he looks and talks like Clinton, people like that. Then i was flipping around on the telle and saw JK on Leno, which i never, repeat never watch, barring a late night trill, but then i wait to the end to turn it on, but anyway, he was on the leno show wearing a Motorcycle jacket, it was jsut wrong, it didn’t work. I thought he blew it. Then Dean wigged out on live tv and Welsey Clark got the endorsement of Madonna which sank him. Comedy in the popular culture swing effect. Enough politics. If Dubya repeats, i’m leaving the country for real this time. I balked last time but i can’t take it anymore.
