I started running a while ago, and I found out that it’s way more fun with some music in my mp3 player

The first two Sleater-Kinney albums, Call The Doctor and Dig Me Out work perfectly for me, but what else? …I’ve been looking for a Punk Rock Aerobics playlist or something, but didn’t find any such thing on their site
any other suggestions/experiences?
May 30, 2004 at 9:18 am #102318Something fast would be good,I don`t think anyone would listen to Low running

Maybe:
St Johnny-Speed Is Dreaming
Some Girls-Feel It
Slant 6-Soda Pop Rip OffMay 30, 2004 at 3:33 pm #102319I’ve heard good things about The New Pornographers from a few people.
May 30, 2004 at 8:08 pm #102320AC/DC – Highway to Hell
the Jam – Going underground
REM – Radio Free Europe
White Stripes – Seven nation army….and of course:
Bruce Springsteen – Born to run
May 31, 2004 at 2:44 am #102321Hellacopters work well for me
May 31, 2004 at 4:33 am #102322Maybe you can start your own ‘Punk Rock Jogging’ business….

cool, thanks for the tips so far, I started with downloading New Pornographers and Slant6 to see if they work for me. also it seems to be a great occasion to take a closer look to the mighty Hellacopters

…a mix of songs is a good idea, I’ll think of that, but probably it will be without AC/DC
great spring weather outside, I’ll go running now
May 31, 2004 at 3:17 pm #102324Because of my bad knee (soccer injury) only my nose is running everynow and then.
To keep in shape I picked up bicycling.
With Franz Ferdinand on my cd-player I go faster.May 31, 2004 at 3:39 pm #102325hey hansione, somewhere back in my mind I remember a knee surgery story, and one about a male nurse
good to hear your knee is fine for cycling
…running isn’t the best thing for the knees, indeed.I listened only once to the Franz Ferdinand album, so far. they appeared to me like quite a hype, but nevertheless the music is ok, I think.
May 31, 2004 at 4:20 pm #102326hey malcom, I like the New Pornographers – Mass Romantic from the first listen & I’m sure it’s great for running
June 1, 2004 at 3:05 am #102327Running?!?!? I would’ve thought you german girls were too well behaved to spend your free time running around the streets of Hamburg…
June 1, 2004 at 2:06 pm #102328y’know, I live in a red light district here, and the residents in my ‘hood usually sleep at daytime, when I’m running around  lots of tourists here also, but I don’t see why I should care ….about the residents as well as the tourists
…and they don’t care about me.
I’m usually running in the nearby park, anyway
June 1, 2004 at 3:30 pm #102329BTW running without music on the ears isn’t bad eather, specialy while jogging at the presence of mother nature.
June 2, 2004 at 5:55 am #102330FC, I was just trying to tease you. Of course you shouldn’t care about the pushers, hookers and turbojugends when you’re out running:)
Also, I would like to suggest NOFX – Punk in Drublic as a great running album.June 2, 2004 at 6:00 am #102331FANTOMAS – self titled

RUN FC RUN !!!!!
