After seeing the worst album covers topic, I started thinking about the covers of the Dinosaur / J albums. I think some of the covers are great, but others are pretty terrible.

My favorites
Where You Been and You’re Living All Over Me

As far as bad covers, I think Hand it Over or Without A Sound weak.

What are your favorite/least favorite Dino/J album covers?

first of all I love all Dino/ J covers because they’re from my favourite records and second I love all the covers because they’re all cool

…apart from that, I’ve only been wondering a bit about the cross motif of Martin & me, also I can’t especially relate to the cover art of the first record. all of the other artwork is too close to my heart to be objective, maybe…
The cover artwork by Angry Johnny or Neil Blender is especially cool I think, as well as the unique lettering :):)

I think J Mascis + The Fog – More Light, looks terrible. But the backcover with the bat is so cool. Free so free looks really good!

You really think the cover of More Light was awesome? I’m not questioning your taste, I’m just saying that to me it was a disappointment compared to the covers of so many of the other dino albums.

the self titled one is my favorite, but only on the actual LP. when it got shrunk to fit on a cd cover, it lost alot of detail.
