      i just wanted i am so glad i found this site. ive been a dinosaur jr and j mascis fan for several years. im always trying to turn people on to him. nice to see so many other fans. had one question though. does anyone know if he plans on coming to the chicago area any time soon? ive never had the chance to see him live.

        Welcome Keyster :D as far as I know,no plans for Chicago yet but keep checking the tour dates here :)

          Welcome, always cool to meet a longtime J Mascis fan :!:

          No news on tour dates yet, but like SG said, check back often for tour dates, they pop up out of nowhere sometimes :aliensmile:

          In the meantime, you can download some great shows of J/Dinosaur Jr at FreesoFree.net.

          Theres a couple recent shows, J Mascis & The Fog live & sonic @ Slims, acoustic performance from the recent Autism benefit in Mass & all kinds of other shows Freaks from all over the world have made available. Huge thanks to Anthony for hosting & making all those shows available for the Freaks out there :!:

            cool thanx for the link. i cant wait to download all of em. in the mean time ill keep watchin dates. Dinosaur Jr. came threw my town a few years ago but wasnt advertised and i missed it. i was soooo ticked off!!! keep crossing my fingers.

              yeah, i hear you there … i just found our relatively recently that dinosaur jr played london in 1997 … it wasn’t advertised + i never went :( … i hope you get to see him the next time round b/c he’s awesome live … 8) :D 8)

                  man i just got done watchin the stubs live video….im still in awe. i called my buddy and he was listnen too. j mascis has just topped the list of my favorate performers!!!!! that was the first live video i saw. as a guitar player i can honestly say he is the best!!! thanx for the link to freesofree!!!!
