Gracias! The effect is pretty much a result of my shooting style and the parameters forced on my by the lighting. Unfortunately some highlights were blown due to the hot red lights up front, but I think for the most part I captured pretty well the emotion and intensity of J’s smokin performance that night.

Great photos, I wish I had been in NC. I really like 5581, and I noticed a wedding ring, great job J. Strangely enough My husband was wearing his wedding ring when I brought the baby home. He always said it got in his way when he was working. I really like it on him and I asked him why he was wearing it after so many years and he said he put it on because he found it, I had no idea it had been lost. He said he had no idea where it was until he found it. Hmmmmm, OKay. (sounds psychological to me)

                    maybe j’s ring isn’t a wedding band …

                    i only say this b/c i’m married + i don’t have a wedding ring, but sometimes i wear a ring on my (wedding) ring finger … :D
