                    First Lou Barlow in December, then it turns out his long haired former band mate, Dinosaur Jr frontman Mascis, is coming to town as well. His solo material since Dinosaur broke up has arguably been a bit generic, but he’s been known to play classics at his shows, travelling alone with a guitar and a tape recorder so he can loop stuff and play solos over it with the guitar in screeching overdrive.

                      yes, i’m not only in the US, but right now i’m in brattleboro, vt (about 40 mins from amherst !! :D ) …

                      yeah !! i can’t believe j’s playing london …

                      we were in nyc last week + mike watt + the pixies + i think sonic youth (or part of) were playing, but of course those shows were all sold out … :roll:

                      then i saw that j was playing somewhere in ny state, but it was too late to act on it :D … oh brother !! my timing’s a bit off …

                      anyhow … i’ll definitely be at the london show … anyone know why j’s going to be there ?? (other than the live date?)

                          for some reason i can’t see how much they’re charging, but ticketmaster’s usually pretty expensive (duh!! … kind of goes w/o saying, doesn’t it ? :wink: )

                            oh well damn it all ! :D … for some reason i can’t access my email or the "buy now" pages on the websites, so i guess this computer (in my motel) must have disabled some functions or whatever :roll: … i guess i’ll either have to wait until i get back to my parents’ house (on thurs) or find an internet cafe in town … ugh … so close, yet so far :wink: :D :D
