So, a few weeks ago my son asks me "Dad, the next time you build a computer, I want to help.." HEY NOW!!! When the child said that , Mom couldn’t say a thing!!!

That’s great news Carl, I must confess a few years ago my husband did the same. He wanted a new computer but I was letting him know it just wasn’t something I thought we could afford at the time. He came to me and said "if I can’t buy one I will just build one out of whatever parts I can find. "I can use my old keyboard." Wow, I thought, how cleaver is this guy. He is going to build us a computer. Well, it turns out, he wasn’t searching at the local flea markets and yard sales for spare parts. He had no trouble "finding" the parts, at a computer supply house. We ended up with a much faster computer so I forgave him.

            That’s quite a machine! 8)

I’ve been considering a similar upgrade, but I think I’m going to hold off for the typical 2nd quarter price drop… especially for memory, which is pretty high right now.

I do not know if you any heavy overclocking, or what not.. but I got this http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProductDesc.asp?description=20-146-299&depa=0

137 for a gig of Mushkin doesn’t seem bad..
