Louis XIV is a good new band with that nuevo-avante-garde
kinda feel to them…. some songs are real gems though… and
you can’t beat the low price for the e.p. …

I enjoy "Prisoners of love" by Yo La Tengo a lot. The last two cd’s by Bright Eyes are very good and I dig the last cd by "The thrills" a lot!
LCD-soundsystem, a big hype here in Holland has disapointed me, its not for me I guess..

I love the Mars Volta I’ve had that album for a long time, I downloaded it like a month before it came out, and I’m seeing them on Cinco De Mayo

yah bardo pond has a lot of free stuff on the web… for L.F.O. I would start with the earlier stuf …. any one ever heard the secret machines ??? thats a sweet name for a band… im gonna have to go out and get some…there is also the new Q.O.T.S.A joint but after the split of Homme and Oliveri I am inclined to think it’ll probably suck.

The Hellacopters released a pretty pleasing ep couple months ago…Strikes Like Lightning…

or maybe some whiplash rock ‘n’ roll The Raveonettes Pretty in Black has it’s moments. Tons of reverb, Ronnie Spector & Moe Tucker guest on a couple songs… 8)

I’ve downloaded some of the secret machines, I’ve yet to really get into the album, I’ve been listening tothree albums lately. The Arcade Fire’s Funeral, and THe Mars Volta’s Frances The Mute, and The Eagles Of Death Metal’s Peace Love Death Metal

I’ve got the New QOTSA its pretty good

Don’t let the kids fool you Rich, listen to your friend robert, he will sort you out:
You will like danko jones – we sweat blood
nerf herder will make you laugh and pump your fists in the air while listening to "I hope I’m not out of place, courtney love won’t you please sit on my face," and pantera fans in love is a hoot. Not to mention 5000 ways to die which is a great song. Download both their albums.
ac/dc – back in black if you don’t have this, get it.
killers – hot fuzz is a good album
both under the western freeway and sophtware slump by grandaddy are classics.
so there you go, now you know how it is.
