Happy May Day to all workers!

Happy May Day to all the migrant workers trying to pass the "immigrant hunter" vigilante groups to go pick tomatoes for 20 cents a bushel. Let’s ask the red neck gun-toting bunch if they’ll go work in a field for that amount of money so THEY could feed their families :!: :x

Hope it was good 8)

A columnist wrote an interesting article about Mexico-US illegal border migration today and apparently, Mexican migrant workers take in $14 billion per year back to Mexico and that this "problem" has been going on since the 70’s. [http://www.sherbrookerecord.com–Wed. May 4th–Columnist: Henry R. Keyserlingk]

Does this hurt more than it helps?
A migrant worker who was interviewed (CBC Radio) while attempting to cross the border, said that the problem is that the US government won’t issue enough temporary workers permits.

Any thoughts, anyone?
