With Download being, perhaps, a strange choice of festival to play, veteran, recently reunited and seriously old indie rockers, Dinosaur Jr [6] took to the stage playing to what was one of the smallest crowds of the day. The band were by no means bad, in fact anyone bothering to pay much attention to them may have been mildly surprised at the band who have been described as one of the founders of the sound that went on to spawn Nirvana amongst others. That said, Dinosaur Jr are most definitely a band more suited to Reading & Leeds, Glastonbury or other such indie themed festivals.
