You are risking permanent damage to your ears without them.
I myself like being able to hear, I will always wear them at Dino.

I never wore them in the 90’s at Dino shows. I remember my ears ringing for three days straight. Now, I will always wear them.

I’ve seen J+The Fog twice. The first time I did not wear ear plugs and totally regretted it. I was warned but did not listen. I’ll wear them at these shows but I’ll probably loosen them up a bit from time to time ;)

I swear my ears were just a note away from bleeding after a show once…

Man, it’s to late for me, at 40 I already walk around the house unable to hear very well, "The baby needs a feeding" I heard the other day as "The baby’s Knee is bleeding" or after a phone call my daughter yelled out to me "Dad says start the rice" and I heard "Start a fight" and Liliana yelled louder at me "NO, HE SAID START THE RICE" and I yell back "TARTS ARE NICE?"

I have never worn earplugs so I suppose the damage is done.

i plan on wearing ear plugs for the opening two bands just to ensure that Dinosaur Jr. gets to blow out my ears. Once in a lifetime maybe chance can’t let rubber or foam inbetween it…

I didn’t wear them and my ears rang all night. Next day I was fine, Shrug.

Case in Point, I am heading out of town just this hour and my husband calls on the phone and says " I know how you drive, I hope you DIE slowly" Oh, My God, I said, thinking he was making some off-color joke having to do with collecting life insurance…. "I can’t believe you said that" I said. " What, DRIVE slowly, dumb ass, drive slowly" he said……………..

Jeez, My mother never warned me about earplugs, motorcycles and tatoos but never earplugs….. :?

…don’t know which one J. uses but I am using ones like these, I got them from the Lufthansa technical department when we had to install some computer software in a hall where jet engines were tested, and they are very effective…. 8) 8) 8)

Earplugs are definitely important. I prefer good earplugs which are designed for music. They cost a bit, but last quite a while.

I personally enjoy feeling J’s guitar notes vibrating in my intestines.
