I recently bought You’re Living All Over Me and when i was listening to just like heaven i noticed it ended in a strange way, the track just stopped and it didn’t end the way the original did. Do i have a defective disc or something?

every version i have ever had (about 5) the tune is 2:52…
the story is the tape ran out when they first recorded it and they liked how it sounded so they left it that way. thankfully they dont try to pull off that abrupt ending when they play it live- that would be a good trick

and sanfrancisco being the jam capital of the rock world-it started here in the 60s…here’s hopin they do a 2 hour set.
even tho’ Lou says he ‘likes short songs’.
i remember J sayin he liked playin w/ Dave Schools cause they can just look at each other and go off…

i always heard it’s cause when they recordeed it the tape ran out so they kept the track like that, cause the jam was so tight !

it’s weird, my copy of YLAOM has that version of Just Like Heaven and completely leaves of "Show Me the Way". i have it on my computer, downloaded, with all the songs but with "show me the way" and a 1000x better live version of "just like heaven". I wish my CD was like that. its so much better.
