Saw J with a female friend @ N. Hampton. Wondering if it’s a "friend". He had his arm around her while watching the Magik Markers. Wonder if it’s Amma. Who is Amma? Is she affiliated with the Ammaring? Wonder what is up with the new CD on sale at these shows which is all about Amma and other repetitive weirdness. Seems to me that these songs were performed with J and a guy holding a gun to his head. What’s the deal?!?!?! I’d like to hear other’s opinions on this because it’s quite distressing for me. Hearing the first song (let alone an entire CD) of Mascis songs that I don’t like, or maybe just didn’t "get" them.
amma is definetely not J’s wife. Friend, dont know if thats the right word but perhaps.
i know some info about her but i dont wanna give it wrong, im sure someone will inform you about what she’s all about. i know she hugs people and whatnot

Amma did, however, perform J and Louisa’s wedding ceremony. My brother was there — not really knowing who J was — and said it made him weep.
Where did they get married. At one of Ammas gatherings. I went and saw her Monday and ran into Louisa.
