music database?

      this is probably a weird question, but…I was looking at imdb today, and I started wondering if there is any sort of equivalent website for music information? like a database of every album ever recorded that includes as many credits as possible.

      anybody know of one?

        The AMG‘s pretty good… You have to sign up to get to some things (I haven’t) and not others. I don’t know if it’s quite what you’re looking for or not, but it might be worth checking out.
