J Mascis will play a solo show at CBGB’s on September 11th. This show is in conjunction with the month-long "Save CBGB’s" concert series. More information can be found at http://www.cbgb.com. Ticket info and support acts still TBD. Thanks.

sometimes he plays together or alone, brand new love, think (let tomorrow bee), soul + fire, on fire (basically any fire song haha), ive heard him do rebound, skull, willing to wait, and flame a few years ago, don’t know if he still does those. he plays some more as well, he definetely does a handful of sebadoh songs. i know hes open to requests too. lou rules.

A) First off, if the only commercial lease that is in this building pays, as it has been paying for years,to support people who have no money then you shouldn’t treat them like shit.
B) This club has a historical perspective that shouldn’t be overlooked.
C) if it’s an accounting mistake on the part of the landlord–too bad–that’s the way the cookie crumbles. The tenant is not responsible for shoddy accounting practices or prior mistakes made by people who can’t count–the lease is the agreement…
